Phyla nodiflora var. nodiflora {+} (=Lippia nodiflora var. rosea). CAPEWEED. MAT-GRASS. SPATULATE-LEAVED FOG-FRUIT. Perennial. Bl May-Oct. Moist places, especially along edges of reservoirs. Grizzly Gulch, E Fk Coyote Ck between Schafer Corral and Arnold Cabin, Kelly Lake, Hoover Lake, Coit Lake, N Fk Pacheco Ck (Kaiser-Aetna Rd crossing; near park boundary), Jackrabbit Lake, Raven Pond, Vasquez Tr N of Canada de la Dormida, Wasno Pond, Tule Pond, Coon Hunter's Gulch, Hunting Hollow. Some forms native of South America.
Verbena lasiostachys var. lasiostachys. {++} WESTERN VERBENA. CALIFORNIA VERVAIN. COMMON VERVAIN. Perennial. Bl Apr-Aug. Fairly common in dry to moist places throughout.
Verbena lasiostachys var. scabrida {+} (=Verbena robusta). ROBUST VERVAIN. Perennial. Bl Jul-Sep and probably longer. Moist places. Along creek below Kelly Lake; N Fk Pacheco Ck upstream from Hole-in-the-Rock. Possibly also at Los Cruzeros.
