Rosa sp.
Wild Rose

A member of the Rosaceae, or Rose Family

Fruiting branch.

Cañada de la Dormida area.

June 1995.

This might be a variation of California Rose (Rosa californica),
though the thorns are unusually slender for this species.

Other Rosa species found at Coe Park are rarely seen with fruit.
