The summit of Robinson Mountain is the highest of a small upland of about ten peaks.  From this view southwest from the summit, you look into a small valley which would be a wonderful place to camp if you packed in water.  The predominant vegetation you see is the shrub chamise (Adenostoma fasciculatum), edged by gray pines (Pinus sabiniana) and blue oaks (Quercus douglasii)—the latter looking rather bright green in their new spring foliage.
