Claytonia sp. {++} COAST RANGE and/or COMMON MONTIA. Annual. Bl Feb-Apr. Open, dry to moist slopes. Thomas Addition, Blue Ridge, N Fk Pacheco Ck, Mississippi Ridge near lake, Rooster Comb, gulch n of Mustang Flat. Both Claytonia gypsophiloides and Claytonia exigua have been reported. The populations of Claytonia I've examined appear to be intermediate between these closely related taxa.
