Dicentra chrysantha. {++} GOLDEN EAR-DROPS. GOLDEN DICENTRA. Perennial. Bl May-Sep (rarely to Dec). Burns and disturbed areas, dry slopes. Pine Ridge (one plant in chaparral near upper end of Cougar Tr), Blue Ridge, road up Bear Mtn from SW, Roller Coaster Ridge, ridge to E of Hoover Lake airstrip, Pinto Ck.


Eschscholzia caespitosa. {+} TUFTED ESCHSCHOLZIA. Annual. Bl Mar-May. Dry flats and brushy slopes. E Fk Coyote Ck (The Narrows, near Los Cruzeros, near base of rd up Bear Mtn), rd up Bear Mtn at ca 2260 ft elev, County Line Rd near Mississippi Lake, Red Ck cyn slopes, Pinto Ck.


Eschscholzia californica. {++} CALIFORNIA POPPY. Annual to perennial. Bl Mar-Oct. Common in open and grassy places throughout.


Meconella denticulata. {+} SMALL-FLOWERED MECONELLA. Annual. Bl Mar-Apr. Uncommon on shaded slopes W of Mustang Peak.


Platystemon californicus. {++} CREAM CUPS. Annual. Bl Mar-Apr. Open grassy slopes. Pine Ridge (Springs Tr), N end Mahoney Ridge, Little Long Cyn, Hartman Ck, S Fk Orestimba Ck near mouth of Red Ck, Mustang Pk (including slopes to W and ridge to E).


Stylomecon heterophylla. {++} WIND POPPY. Annual. Bl Apr-May. Grassy and brushy slopes. Uncommon. Mile Trail, the Narrows, Mississippi Ck (near rd ca 2 mi NE of Coit Lake).
