Madrone Soda Springs.
Remnants of the resort which operated from the late 1800s to the 1920s.
This resort featured bathing in the mineral springs for the curative effects;
it was not and is not a hot spring.

Rock cooler built into the hillside at Madrone Soda Springs.
This made use of the natural insulation of rocks and earth
to keep the room cool for storing perishable foods.
