Fairly common on E side: Roller Coaster Ridge, Mississippi Lake, Co Line Rd, Red Ck, S Fk Orestimba. This is a northerly extension for the range reported in Hickman and in Munz.

Chlorogalum pomeridianum var. pomeridianum. {++} SOAP PLANT. AMOLE. WAVY-LEAF SOAP PLANT. SOAPROOT. Perennial. Bl May-Aug. Fls begin opening between 4 pm and 8 pm and close by morning. Common on dry open hills, chaparral, and sometimes in woods, throughout.
Dichelostemma capitatum {++} (=Dichelostemma pulchellum. Brodiaea capitata. Brodiaea pulchella). BLUE DICKS. WILD-HYACINTH. COMMON BRODIAEA. Perennial. Bl Mar-May. Common on open slopes and hills, edges of brush and open woods throughout.
Dichelostemma congestum {+} (=Brodiaea congesta). OOKOW. Perennial. Bl May-Jun. Open woodland and grassland. Flat Frog Trail, Poverty Flat. I only recently learned this sp on sight and may have confused some specimens of this with Dichelostemma capitatum.
