Same location and time as prior photo, mixed with Triphysaria eriantha, which latter is the predominant
cream-colored flower in the lower half of the photo.  The Murphy Trail is visible on the ridge in
the background.

Habitat, near Kingbird Pond.

Tree at left is Quercus douglasii, in the background are numerous
Pinus sabiniana, and just beyond the Lasthenia at right is a well-rounded
Ceanothus cuneatus.
