This area was subjected to a prescribed burn in the fall of 1993.

![]() Habit on Pacheco Ridge Road about one mile north of Brem Spring. This specimen is more typical of those you may find at Coe, except after a burn. Note how similar the form is to that of Lotus scoparius. Helianthemum tends to be more compact with a stiffer, straighter appearance to the stems.
