Entire body.

Gopher snakes are sometimes mistaken for rattlesnakes because of the similar
pattern.  When they feel threatened, they may vibrate their tail in dry grass---producing
a sound reminiscent of the buzz of a rattler.  They may also flatten their head---
which makes it look a bit more triangular like a rattler's.
