Garrya flavescens {+} (=Garrya flavescens var. pallida). ASHY SILK-TASSEL. PALE SILK-TASSEL. YELLOWLEAF SILK TASSEL. Shrub. Bl Feb-Apr. Dry slopes. Uncommon to fairly common on central ridges, rarely on canyon bottoms. Middle Fk Coyote Ck upstream from Mexican Flat, Blue Ridge in vicinity of Mt Sizer, Divide Ridge, Grizzly Ck, N end Willow Ridge, Bear Mtn, SE of Bear Spr.
