Marah fabaceus {++} (=Echinocystis fabacea). WILD CUCUMBER. COMMON MANROOT. CALIFORNIA MANROOT. Herbaceous vine. Bl Feb-early May. Common on banks and slopes in chaparral and woodlands throughout.
