Los Cruzeros

Los Cruzeros in the spring.
Narrow trail ascending the hill in the background is the lower end of the Willow Ridge Trail.

East Fork Coyote Creek just west of Los Cruzeros, looking west toward the entrance of the Narrows.
There is a large California Sycamore at left.  The gravelly areas in this view are usually completely submersed from the flooding after heavy winter rains.  Most years, this portion of the East Fork is
dry or reduced to small pools by July, when this photo was taken.

Along the East Fork Coyote Creek downstream from Arnold Horse Camp.  The grassy slopes in the background are part of Miller Field, and the flat area in front of the prominent rock in the middle of the image was the site of the Miller-Lux cabin.  On this flat, one can find remnants of the fireplace of the cabin.  This broad open portion of the East Fork is one of the first  that dries up in late spring or summer.
