Calystegia malacophylla ssp. pedicellata {+} (=Convolvulus malacophyllus ssp. pedicellata). SIERRA MORNING GLORY. Perennial. Bl "Apr-Jul". Dry slope on serpentine soil; S Fk Orestimba Ck W of Mustang Peak.
Calystegia purpurata {+} (=Convolvulus occidentalis var. purpuratus). PURPLISH MORNING GLORY. Perennial. Bl late spr-early sum. Brushy slopes and ridges. Fairly common through much of park. Our plants do not Wt into this sp well, but seem closest to it.
Calystegia subacaulis {+} (=Convolvulus subacaulis). HILL MORNING GLORY. Perennial. Bl May & probably longer. Open grassy fields. Slopes NW of Arnold Cabin, Mahoney Ridge (near Mahoney Pond), Phegley Ridge.
*Convolvulus arvensis. {++} FIELD BINDWEED. Perennial. Bl May-Sep. Fields and roadsides. Coe HQ, Madrone Soda Springs, base of Bear Mtn Rd, Kaiser-Aetna Rd (Bell Station gate & Dowdy Ranch area), Hunting Hollow parking area. Native of Eurasia.
