Near the ramada at Coyote Creek gate.

June 11, 1995.

This subspecies is highly variable, and despite its common name,
often does not have a spot on each petal.  Off-hand, I don't recall
seeing the spotted form at Coe, though a darker form is quite common, as seen
in Dave Hildebrand's photo below.
