*Cerastium glomeratum {++} (=Cerastium viscosum). MOUSE-EAR CHICKWEED. STICKY MOUSE-EAR. Annual. Bl Mar-Jul. Fairly common in disturbed areas throughout. Native of Europe.


*Herniaria hirsuta ssp. cinerea {+} (=Herniaria cinerea). GRAY RUPTUREWORT. Annual. Bl "Apr-Sep". Disturbed areas. Apparently rare, known only from rd near mouth of Robinson Ck, and probably on Willow Ridge between Coit & Hoover lakes. Native of S Europe, N Africa, SW Asia.


Minuartia californica {++} (=Arenaria californica). CALIFORNIA SANDWORT. Annual. Bl Apr & probably longer. Thomas Addition.


Minuartia douglasii {++} (=Arenaria douglasii). DOUGLAS' SANDWORT. Annual. Bl Apr-May. Dry sterile places. Middle Fk Canyon (Hobbs Rd near ck crossing), Pine Ridge (Corral Tr, Monument Tr), Robinson Mtn.


*Petrorhagia dubia {+} (=Kohlrauschia velutina).  Annual.  Bl May and probably earlier.  Known only from Coe HQ campground by site 19.


*Silene gallica. {++} WINDMILL PINK. COMMON CATCHFLY. SMALL-FLOWERED CATCHFLY. Annual. Bl Mar-Jul. Fields and roadsides. Fairly common through much of park. Native of Europe.


*Spergula arvensis. {++} CORN SPURRY. Annual. Bl spring. Fields and roads. Mahoney Ridge near top of rd to Coit Camp. Native of Europe.


*Spergularia rubra. {++} PURPLE SAND SPURRY. Annual or short-lived perennial. Bl Mar-Aug. Roadsides and other disturbed areas. Common at Coe HQ and on roads on Pine Ridge; also Middle Ridge, Hoover Lake area. Native of Europe.


*Stellaria media. {++} COMMON CHICKWEED. Annual. Bl Feb-Jul. Common in shady places throughout. Native of Eurasia.


Stellaria nitens. {++} SHINING CHICKWEED. Annual. Bl Mar-Apr. Fairly common in grassy places. Manzanita Pt near camp 9, E Fk Coyote Ck (base of Willow Ridge Tr, near base of Bear Mtn Rd), ridge E of Hoover Lake airstrip, S Fk Orestimba Ck (base of Hartman Tr), mouth of Mustang Flat drainage.


*Velezia rigida. {++} VELEZIA. Annual. Bl May-June. Dry places. China Hole Tr near base, E Fk Coyote Ck, Little Long Cyn. Native of southern Europe.
