Asclepias californica. {+} ROUND-HOODED MILKWEED. CALIFORNIA MILKWEED. Perennial. Bl Apr-Jun. Uncommon; scattered individuals on dry grassy slopes throughout. Soda Springs Cyn, Pine Ridge (Corral Tr, Flat Frog Tr), Middle Ridge, Blue Ridge (the Short Cut), Mahoney Meadows, S slopes of Rooster Comb, N of Tie-Down Pk, tr to Burra Burra Peak from Kaiser-Aetna Rd.


Asclepias fascicularis {++} (=Asclepias mexicana). NARROW-LEAVED MILKWEED. Perennial. Bl late May-Sep. Fairly common in dry washes and creekbeds throughout.
