Aristolochia californica. {??} DUTCHMAN'S-PIPE. CALIFORNIA PIPEVINE. Climbing woody vine. Bl "Jan-Apr". Stream banks. Allegedly seen along Soda Springs Ck. A note in the plant files at Coe HQ cites this as being near the old Keeny place. Another note that I recall seeing on an old plant list in the files had the name of Jean Ferreira (a state park resource ecologist) written next to this species name, but with no date, no details. I asked her about it when she visited the park ca 1992; she had no memory of the plant in the park, but believes that the record would be correct if she had reported it; the plant occurred near where she grew up. I have searched for it along Soda Springs Ck and have never seen it.
