Amaranthus californicus. {?} CALIFORNIA AMARANTH. Annual. Bl Aug-Sept. Dry mud and gravelly areas in creekbeds and along ponds. Widespread in park. Coyote Ck, Los Cruzeros area, Hoover Lake, N Fk Pacheco Ck, Red Ck, S Fk Orestimba Ck, Kingbird Pond, Jackrabbit Lake,  Tule Pond.
