Acer macrophyllum. {++} BIG-LEAF MAPLE. BROADLEAF MAPLE. OREGON MAPLE. CANYON MAPLE. Tree; deciduous. Bl Mar-Apr. Stream banks, cool shaded slopes. Fairly common along Coyote Ck and its moister tributaries: Soda Springs Cyn, Little Fk, Middle Fk, Big Canyon. Also noted in a tributary gulch of Red Ck NE of Bear Mtn, and in tributary to Cañada de la Dormida.
